"IDRAWCOMICS" - First Impression

So,
I read about the 'IDRAWCOMICS'-book by Matt Marrocco and Ryan Stegman
(Spider Man, Fantastic 4) the other day and was very amazed, I immediately bought it.
Because I still have an artblock or let's call it ' fear of drawing', my self-doubt is very strong these days, I try to overcome it by using tutorials to exercise.

First of all, I know it may be strange to buy a guide for drawing 'american' Comics when my style is obviously Manga-ish, but in my opinion it doesn't matter at all.  It's rather very interesting to see how different styles can be and if you try to draw your characters mature and a little less Bishônen, it's the best reference you can get, because male characters in Comics are very muscular and edged.

Comic Style vs. (my own) Manga Style

Also, the guide doesn't direct you to use a certain style but helps you to create your own or to upgrade it. Most of the pages are for practicing, the guide just gives you an exemplified reference 'how' you can create perspectives, panels etc. and motivates you.

Conclusion:
I'd like to have more exercise-variations, especially when it comes to dynamic poses, because there aren't any, but nevertheless I think it was worth the money and I hope I can fill the blank pages. :)
